Hunger - Nutrition - Climate Justice - Conference Dublin 2013
On 15-16 April 2013, the Irish Government and the Mary Robinson Foundation - Climate Justice (MRFCJ), with partnership support from the World Food Programme and the CGIAR research programme on Climate Change and Food Security, convened an international conference in Dublin to open dialogue and debate on the linked global challenges of hunger, nutrition and climate justice.
The 'listening' conference brought together members of vulnerable households in grassroots communities with the global development policy makers who seek to help these people in the decisions they make, so that these grassroots community members could have their voice heard and tell their stories of how climate change is impacting on their food security, often leading to hunger and under nutrition.
